AIMS
AND
OBJECTIVES OF ADD UP BALLYMENA VOLUNTARY GROUP
1. To Stop Bullying in our local schools and communities
2. To follow up and secure the needs of our children are met
3. To provide educational information for Parents free of charge to victims
4 .To ensure Parents and families’ rights are maintained at all times within the Educational System and outside it
5. To provide educational alternatives to State Education and maintain them
6 .To keep and maintain Families’ rights above all others within the law
7. To rally government and local LEAs, Community Groups and Church group’s
Support to families which have suffered as a result of bullying related to their disablements
8. To raise awareness of children with Autism, ADHD, and other related special Needs/conditions within the state system, Education otherwise system and in the local communities.
9 .To meet the above needs and conditions as far as we can ourselves also.
10.To provide financial as well as spiritual (Christian) or emotional support to victims and their families, (This help is only by request from the victims themselves).
11 To provide and subsidise Practical legal help where necessary
12 .To sell educational and promotional leaflets and books under our own publishing house.
13. To sell promotional and disability aids to schools, colleges, and private parties to aid our ADHD, Dyspraxic and Autistic members and friends |
